The Telecare Services Association's Annual Report 2009-10 is positioned as an independent document for telecare and telehealth, with 6,000 copies distributed to policy makers and opinion formers across the UK.

With a society that has rapidly changing needs, the importance of telecare and telehealth services continues to grow, as does the need for discussion, debate and innovation. We have sought contributions from leading decision makers, policy makers and health experts to shape the discussions, and create debate, within these service areas.

Roy Lilley, writer and broadcaster on health, introduces the report, providing a candid view on the real challenges facing the NHS including the absolute need to do more for less. Stimulating articles outlining the need for substantial change throughout health and social care , coupled with tangiable examples of how telecare and telehealth are driving this change, feature in this year’s Annual Report.
