The purpose of the meeting is twofold:

1. To brief you on the latest work undertaken on the initiative, the initial 6 month work plan, and the communications strategy.

2. To open discussion on the setting up of a member representative group that will meet on a regular basis to advise and direct the TSA input into the initiative, and also support the main work streams.

A number of members have already indicated a willingness to work with TSA on this initiative and now that the formal launch of 3millionlives has taken place it is right that we start work on bringing a group together that can be seen to represent all areas of our membership. In addition to this group we will continue to provide regular updates to all members by e-mail, regional fora and other events.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, and be limited to one place per organisation to ensure as many organisations as possible can attend. We will also hold a reserve list in case of cancellations. The outcome of the meeting will be posted on the TSA website shortly after the event.

This initiative is the Number One business priority for TSA in 2012 and will be taken forward across all the nation states.

One further update is that we expect more details of the Telehealth element of the WSD project to be released within the next couple of weeks. The telecare results are expected within one to two months. We will bring you any further information as soon as it is released.
