TSA membership gives you access to the largest telecare and telehealth network in Europe.  Network, generate business contacts and share best practice at free member events across the country. Take advantage of discounted training on industry specialist subjects and access the world recognised TSA Telecare Code of Practice.

The TSA is currently developing the quality standard for telehealth. Announcements at conference outlined the first draft of the quality matrix which integrates both telecare and telehealth services - a world first. TSA members are invited to review the matrix and give their comments on this first draft.

Annual General Meeting

The TSA Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Thursday 3 May in Birmingham.  The AGM featured a review of TSA's activities over the past year and an overview of future plans; guest speakers Stephen Johnson, Deputy Director, Head of Long Term Conditions, Department of Health and Jim McManus, Joint Director of Public Health, Birmingham City Council; Members Showcase (new for this year); a choice of interactive workshops; lunch and, of course, plenty of time to network during refreshment breaks. Copies of the presentations are available for members to download.

Good Practice Guides

There are three new entries in the series of Good Practice Guides, which are now available for TSA members.  These are, Supporting Medication Adherence with Telecare, Extending safety and security in schools and public buildings and Using GPS location to manage safe walking.  eCopies have already been distributed, and members can download additional copies when logged into the TSA website. A limited number of printed copies are also available, upon request. For the full series of Good Practice Guides currently available, see the publications area of the website.

Conference 2012
