Government Procurement Service

The Government Procurement Service (formerly Buying Solutions) framework agreement for telecare, telehealth and telecoaching was formally announced in August 2010.  Its purpose is to provide public sector organisations with access to the use of electronic devices to monitor and improve the health, safety and quality of life after very vulnerable people.

 

The framework consists of six aspects:

 

  1. Personal telecare products
  2. Personal telecare services
  3. Telehealth products
  4. Telehealth services
  5. Telecoaching products and services
  6. Managed services

 

This framework agreement enables public sector organisations to purchase telecare, telehealth and telecoaching products and services from a range of suppliers, who have a proven track record in the industry.

 

In addition to this assurance, customers of the agreement have the benefit of an EU compliant route to market, standardised terms and conditions, and operational support.
