Why did you embark on the process of Accreditation?
Apart from Care Quality Commission registration, which is only applicable if you are undertaking clinical triage, there is no other independent assurance of quality in telehealth service delivery.
What benefits have your service and customers gained from achieving Accreditation?
From a customer perspective, as above, offers independent assurance of quality. However, it has not changed the way in which we deliver the service.
Tenders are now stating that organisations must be accredited to the Integrated Code of Practice.
What would you say to encourage non-accredited TSA Members to consider Accreditation?
I think it helps organisations to critically examine their own practices and processes.
