Is telecare means tested?

You may find there are differences in the financial support which is available or in the cost of services throughout the UK. You should always discuss the cost and the range of services offered with your chosen service provider in full.

Telecare services are designed to support and protect the people who use them but to do this it may be necessary to monitor their movements and activities. Telecare sensors and alarms are installed to monitorbut not to video or record. Telecare is not installed to limit their lifestyles or to remove independence.
