Code of Governance

TSA CODE OF GOVERNANCE - SUMMARY

1. The Association and its Values

1.1 TSA is a membership based, not for profit organisation, with members being providers of 24/7 monitoring and response services, commercial organisations who manufacture equipment and, more recently, organisations involved in delivery of Telehealth solutions.

1.2 As such the Telecare Services Association attaches the highest importance to openness, ethical conduct, transparency of decision making and accountability for its actions.  The Board have a vital role in this, by approving the strategic plans and policies on which the Association’s activities are based and holding the Chief Executive and other senior managers to account in implementing these.

1.3 The TSA attaches great importance to maintaining the highest standards of honesty, integrity, impartiality and objectivity in the actions of the board, individual directors and TSA staff.

1.4 It operates to a Code of Governance that sets out the duties, rights and responsibilities of the board and directors.

1.5 Copies of the full code are available to TSA members on request.
