Mission

The mission of the Telecare Services Association is to unlock the potential of the telecare and telehealth industry.  Our role is to help move the industry forward through the development of quality standards, including the Telecare Code of Practice, working with Government on key strategic developments, such as 3millionlives, and bringing the industry together through key events held throughout the year, including the annual International Telecare and Telehealth Conference.

We offer help and advice to those developing and delivering telecare and telehealth products and services.  We also offer help and support for those organisations aiming to become accredited to the Telecare Code of Practice.

As a result of the TSA's links with central and devolved governments we are able to provide a voice for our membership in regards to legislation, funding opportunities and initiatives. We have proactive relationships with key departments, including Department of Health, Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), as well as NHS24 Scotland, Department of Health and Social Services for the Welsh Government and the Centre for Connected Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland. These working relationships enable us to keep our members up to date with activities across the UK, utilising our many information channels to members including the Link magazine, eNews bulletins, Member Forum events, the annual conference, and the website.
